- To assist in social distancing and reducing contact points, we can use a “virtual waiting room.” Please call 401-567-0500 when you have arrived, and remain in your vehicle.
- All Patients/visitors must come into our office wearing a mask. Please keep it on until instructed to remove.
- We will have hand sanitizer available. Please use some when you enter the office.
- We prefer ONLY patients enter into the office. Parents/guardians/caretakers and other family members will be asked to wait outside whenever possible. If necessary ONLY ONE parent/guardian/caretaker will be allowed to accompany a patient. They will also be required to wear a mask, and have their temperatures recorded.
- Sneeze guards or droplet barriers have been installed at the front desk, and all reading material have been removed so they can’t harbor or transfer germs of any kind.
- We ask that you continue to practice social distancing measures in common areas of the office, including the front desk.
- All patients will be screened before appointment starts, including temperature checks. Any patients showing signs of a fever (100.4 or higher) or other symptoms of illness will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
- You may see or hear HEPA air filtration running
- All rooms will be COMPLETELY sterilized before each patient is seated, and public areas, including restrooms, will be cleaned and sterilized frequently throughout the day.
- Prior to procedures starting, you may be asked to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide mixture. This is to help reduce the levels of microbes like bacteria or virus in your mouth before we start working.
- All treatment rooms have high-volume air suction units. The units are capable of removing particles smaller than COVID-19 viruses.
- We have placed surgically clean air units in each operatory. These are designed to circulate the air several times an hour through a HEPA filter, bringing air quality to standards of a hospital operating room.
- To reduce aerosols, rubber dams may be used for certain procedures with the doctor. This non-latex material isolates the teeth we are working on from the rest of the mouth.
- Our team will follow guidelines set forth by the CDC, OSHA, and ADA with regard to personal protective equipment (PPE) and office sterilization.
We are proceeding with an abundance of caution, and we want you to feel as confident as we do that any visit you make to our office will be as safe as possible. We look forward to seeing you soon and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
